Thorax

Thoracic ductHY LymphaticLargest lymphatic vessel. It drains lymph from most of the body, ascends through the posterior mediastinum, and empties into the left venous angle. Injury causes chylothorax.
ThymusHY OrganPrimary lymphoid organ in the anterior and superior mediastinum where T cells mature. It is large in children, involutes after puberty, and thymoma is associated with myasthenia gravis.

Abdomen
